In the lowlands we have entered the main pollen season of hazel and alder. Hazel loads will be moderate to high and alder loads will be high. The flowering season has also expanded to higher altitude areas. Low to moderate loads of cypress pollen and individual grains of poplar and early flowering maple trees are also present.
In the coastal areas high loads of cypress pollen will be present. Hazel and alder loads will be low, however it can increase periodically due to wind transport.
